Concerts

Over 25 years of experience as an artist, illustrator, designer, and cartoonist, Sam has made brushes and colors that have discovered the hidden glances musicians and artists from the most diverse nature. Always in love by the rhythm syncopated, passionate radiant color and sound art enthusiast, the art portrays consummate glories that managers movement independent music of our country, all under the sharp eye of a observer born addicted to the smells of jazz and gestures wine, both provocateurs of vibrant emotions.


Sam currently has more than 100 paintings by different artists, from various genres, both rock and jazz, among others, to name a few; The Beatles Mick Jager, Santana, Sid Vicious, Joe Ramone, Beastie Boys, John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Bill Haley, Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, Miles Davis, Dizzie Gillespie, Dave Brubek, Billie Holliday, Thelonius Monk, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, Earth Wind & Fire; as well as renowned Mexican musicians including Eugenio Toussaint, Enrique Nery, Tino Contreras, Chabela Vargas, Pate de Fuá among many others. He has expressed his art in various media such as: Lapiztola, Resplandor Político, Rolling Stone, Playboy, MAX, Cine Premiere, TV Novelas, TV Guide, Perfiles, Periódico am de Querétaro, Music: Life. He has made album covers for record labels such as Sony BMG, Prodisc and Warner Music. He has created the official image for festivals and exhibitions such as SoundCheck Xpo, World Trade Center, Mexico City. 2008 and 2012., International Jazz & Blues Festival of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato for fourteen consecutive years (2007-2023).

  • Rivera Maya Jazz Festival personally awards a personalized cartoon to the Festival's Special Guests, for three consecutive years: 2012-2014.
