The San Miguel de Allende International Jazz and Blues Festival is a non-profit organization (Fundación Jazz Fest SMA A.C.), it is one of the most recognized music festivals with the longest history in Mexico and with more activity throughout the year. It has been held every year since 1994 and is one of the most important in Latin America.

San Miguel Jazz Festival is a foundation created to give permanence and impetus to jazz and blues, in order to give artists a space to share their music with the audience. National and international musicians with great artistic careers, winners of the Grammy award, among other outstanding recognitions, have shared with the San Miguel de Allende audience and we want to continue doing so with your kind collaboration, making a donation to the “Fundación Jazz Fest SMA A.C.” through “San Miguel Community Foundation” (SMCF).


Donations within Mexico

You can make a donation to Fundación Jazz Fest SMA A.C. from Mexico. You can make a one-time donation or you can make a recurring donation on a monthly basis.


Donations within USA for “San Miguel Community Foundation” (SMCF). 

The Foundation, SMCF, established in 1976, is a fully transparent, tax-exempt, nonprofit, charitable institution under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code in the United States. In the United States, you can deduct it from your taxes and it will have to be written as follows:


“San Miguel Community Foundation” (if this is your case, write “Fundacion Jazz Fest SMA, A.C.” in the memo line).

Mission 

Our mission is to consolidate and contribute to the growth of cultural projects, in particular about the jazz and blues culture in San Miguel de Allende, exposing them consistently to potential audiences inside and outside the locality, encouraging the educational focus of culture through workshops, concerts, courses, conferences, among other activities.

Objectives

The main objective of the Festival is to strengthen our cultural values in our country.

By supporting us you help to:


  • Provide opportunities for emerging and local artists.
  • Showcase and celebrate jazz legends.
  • Introduce and improve jazz education in classrooms and band programs by developing programs that expose students to jazz and blues music.
